Politicians speak out against Trump visit

It is deeply regrettable that Theresa May is determined to press ahead with a visit from US President Donald Trump.
This ignores the views of millions of British people who believe  racism, Islamophobia, antisemitism, sexism, misogyny,  homophobia,  war-mongering, climate change denial, attacks on human rights or  policies that will deepen poverty and inequality should not be  celebrated by our government.
Together against Trump, we will protest against his agenda of hate. Most people in Britain want no part of it – it is not in our name.
