At a huge amount has been said in the last few days about President Trump's outrageous muslim ban. I am particularly worried as a UK citizen living in New York, by this report saying that all foreign nationals will have to present their cell phone for inspection.

I could go on and on. But I won't.

I will simply show the stupidity of Trump's action in stark terms.

Since 1975 no American in the US has died from an attack perpetrated by a citizen of a country banned by Trump. 

In the same period roughly 1.25 million Americans have died from gun violence. 

That is enough to fill the city of Washington twice. Enough said.
