Paul Brandford was born in Luton in 1965. He attended the Royal Academy Schools in the mid 1980's and has subsequently been a practicing artist living and working in London. In 2003 he won the Jerwood Drawing Prize. In 2008 he was shortlisted for the Threadneedle Prize.
